Series: The Kings Table
Pull up a chair. The King has set the table. This Advent at The Parish Church, we’re walking through a new sermon series called “The King’s Table.” From a golden table in the wilderness, to King David’s table of grace, to the manger, the Lord’s Supper, and finally the Wedding Feast of the Lamb, we’ll trace how God moves closer and closer to His people—until we find ourselves with a permanent seat at His table.
In a season packed with shopping, parties, and pressure, these Sundays are a chance to slow down, breathe, and remember why Jesus came. This isn’t just about holiday nostalgia; it’s about a King who welcomes the broken, the overlooked, and the undeserving to feast at The King's Table.

NOVEMBER 30 - CHRISTMAS SEASON BEGINS

This is also the first Sunday of Advent, when we gather to remember and light the Candle of Hope, reminding us that Christ entered our world to bring light into darkness and hope into weary hearts.

DECEMBER 14 - PARISH KIDS CHRISTMAS PROGRAM
Join us Sunday, December 14th as we continue our Advent series, “The King’s Table,” turning our focus to the Manger Scene—the humble table where the Bread of Life first entered our world. It’s a beautiful reminder of how far God was willing to come to draw near to us. We’ll also be lighting the third candle of Advent, celebrating the joy that Christ brings into our lives and into the world.
And don’t miss this week’s special highlight…The Parish Kids Christmas Program! Our kids have been practicing, preparing, and getting ready to share the joy of Jesus through song and Scripture. It’s a moment you’ll want your whole family to experience—sweet, meaningful, and full of Christmas delight.

DECEMBER 21 - COMMUNION SERVICE
Join us Sunday, December 21st as our Christmas series, “The King’s Table,” leads us to one of the most sacred moments in Scripture—the Lord’s Supper. Together, we’ll reflect on how Jesus draws nearer and nearer to us, ultimately giving His very life on the Cross so we may be welcomed at His table forever. We will also light the fourth candle of Advent, celebrating the love God has poured out through Christ’s coming—love strong enough to save, restore, and redeem.
During this service, we’ll enter a meaningful time of Corporate Communion, remembering the body and blood of our Savior and preparing our hearts for the arrival of Christ at Christmas.

CHRISTMAS EVE - CANDLELIGHT SERVICE
Join us on Christmas Eve for two beautiful family services—2:00pm and 4:00pm—as we conclude our Advent series, “The King’s Table.” On this holy night, we’ll turn our eyes to the Wedding Supper of the Lamb, the final and forever table where Christ gathers His people in joy, glory, and redemption.
We will also light the Christ Candle, celebrating the arrival of Jesus—the Light of the World, the Hope of all nations, and the King who invites us into everlasting fellowship with Him.
This will be a special family service (no Parish Kids programming), with Scripture, worship, and a meaningful time of candlelight and remembrance. Together, we’ll reflect on the beauty of Christ’s coming and the promise of His coming again.
