Join A Missional Community

Missional Communities are the way we gather during the week to be the people of Jesus in our city and neighborhoods. This is how we abide in Christ, care for one another like Christ, and proclaim the good news of Christ among those who are far from God.

Why Should I Join A Missional Community?

They are the best way to truly be a part of The Parish Church. Missional Communities are designed to help you grow in your knowledge of the Lord, build community with one another, and engage intentionally with our city. As we are more and more formed into the image of Christ, our response is to live a life that is "sent" to our cities and neighborhoods.

What Should I Expect?

  • Missional Communities are between 15-30 people
  • We have gatherings on the 1st and 3rd weeks of the month for around 1 1/2 - 2 hours.
  • We share meals around the table.
  • Bible study, prayer, accountability, bearing one another's burdens, caring for one another, living on mission, and just having fun together are central to our gatherings.
  • We welcome your kids to our gatherings and provide childcare on-site where the group is meeting.

Our leaders are faithful followers of Jesus and are committed to helping others grow in their relationship with the Lord. They demonstrate spiritual maturity by regularly reading their Bibles, praying, repenting, extending forgiveness, and using their spiritual gifts to encourage others in these practices. They also demonstrate relational maturity by fostering a hospitable and welcoming gathering, cultivating connection, valuing vulnerability, and actively promoting the cultural values of The Parish Church.
